I’m sure someone has thought of this before, but it takes Mr. Gondry to execute, and oh-so-perfectly. Cross-country trip, seemingly in one shot, with a buddy, two breakdowns: one car, one song.

brilliant. i love the song. i love the video. i love Gondry. i don’t think it’s one continuous shot, though. i think they spend relative too much time in the cities. driving across country takes probably 40 hours of driving, the majority of which is in Kansas.
